Spicy Chickpeas



1 can Chickpeas rinsed, drained
½ tsp Garlic powder
¼ tsp Cayenne pepper
¼ tsp Cumin
½ tsp Paprika
¼ tsp Red chili pepper (this is optional if you want some heat)
2 tbsp olive oil


Preheat oven to 400 degrees F.
Rinse and drain chickpeas. Lay them out on several layers of paper towels and pat dry. In a large bowl mix all ingredients together. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper and spread out the seasoned chickpeas in a single layer. Bake for 30-40 minutes. Allow to cool completely before serving.

Tip: When using dried chickpeas place in a medium bowl cover with two inches of water and soak overnight.
