No Bake Energy Bites


½ cup quick cook dry oats
½ cup oat bran
1 tsp chia seeds
3 tbsp ground flax seed
¼ cup peanut or any nut butter
1 tsp coconut oil
2-3 tbsp honey
1 tsp vanilla
1-2 tbsp coconut (optional)
2 tsp cocoa powder
¼ tsp ground cinnamon


In a large bowl, mix all the dry ingredients first and then incorporate all the other ingredients together. Form into tablespoon sized bites.

Protein Energy Bites can be stored in an airtight container in the fridge or freezer. I like making a large batch and freezing half. They thaw quickly for a quick snack. Get creative and add some of your own ingredients such as dried fruit, crushed nuts, or dark chocolate chips.
